PARIS, FR, October 21, 2024 – Stereolabs, a leader in 3D vision technology and AI-powered perception systems is announcing the End of Life (EOL) of the ZED 2 Stereo Camera. This change reflects our commitment to innovating and developing advanced products that meet evolving market demands. While the ZED 2 has served our customers reliably for many years, the time has come to make room for new technologies that enhance performance, maintainability, and efficiency.
The ZED 2 will be replaced by the ZED 2i Stereo Camera, a more advanced model that builds upon its predecessor's strengths. Offering improved features and the same robust 3D vision capabilities, the ZED 2i represents the next step forward in AI-powered depth sensing technology. This new model supports future developments in autonomous systems, robotics, and smart environments.
We are committed to ensuring a smooth transition for all our customers. The table below outlines the key dates associated with the ZED 2’s end-of-life process:

After the Last Time Buy date, the ZED 2 will no longer be available for purchase. However, Stereolabs will continue to offer emergency recovery and service plans based on pre-negotiated agreements until the EOL is fully completed.
Stereolabs has made this decision as part of our strategy to allocate resources toward developing new and more advanced technologies. The ZED 2i, our suggested replacement, offers significant improvements in design and performance while maintaining the core features that made the ZED 2 popular.
