Use an Application

Camera Manager is a sample application provided by ZED Hub for you to get to know the ZED Hub platform and its basic features. It uses the ZED SDK to stream the live video feed from a ZED camera. Live video and recordings are visible in the ZED Hub interface.

This application can be installed by default during Edge Agent’s installation.

Here are the steps to deploy Camera Manager on your device:

• In the Applications panel of your device, click on Deploy App.
• Select Camera Manager App with the latest release and click on Deploy.
• Wait until the application is running.

  You can stop or remove your application using the Stop and Remove button from the Applications panel of the device.

If you have trouble deploying your application, check the Logs panel to see error logs. A list of possible known issues is available here.

Here are the few steps to run Camera Manager:

• Make sure to have a ZED camera connected to your device.
• In the settings panel of your device, disable the privacy mode.

In the Video panel you should now see the live video feed.

If you want your application to record video, follow these steps :

• In the settings panel of your device, click on enable recording.
• You can also set a max size the recording directory can have on your device (in GB).

In the Video panel, you can access, view, and download all of your recordings.
